Ches & Co was founded in Northamptonshire in 2022 out of a simple but powerful idea - that the spaces we live and work in should feel genuinely, unmistakably us.
We work with homeowners and hospitality businesses across the UK and we love every bit of what we do - from the very first conversation to the moment a space finally comes together.
We offer a complete service: space planning, full interior design, styling, procurement, project management, and hands-on installation. But what sets us apart is not what we do, it is how we do it. We ask a lot of questions, we listen even more and we are always honest - even when that means pushing back on an idea. We design around what people genuinely love, because a space you truly connect with is one you will never want to change.
Sustainability matters to us too - we choose quality over quantity, source from suppliers we know and love and always consider the longer view. Our work has been featured in Design Insider magazine which you can read here.

Franny
Design Director
Franny is the Design Director of Ches & Co and the creative vision behind everything we do. With a background in textiles, marketing, and interior design, she works with residential and hospitality clients to create interiors that really work: beautiful, practical, and designed entirely around the people who use them. Franny is a natural problem solver with an eye for detail and a genuine belief that great design should feel effortless.
Finance Director
Matt
Matt joined Ches & Co with seven years of teaching behind him, a head for numbers, and a genuine enthusiasm for getting stuck in. As well as heading up the studio's finances, he plays a hands-on role in project installations — making sure every space is delivered to the standard it deserves. Matt is currently working towards his accountancy qualification and brings the same drive and energy to the books as Franny brings to the design.
Ace
Head of Fun
This guy knows how to play - and get everyone involved! Ace is our fun-loving, snuggly spaniel and the true heart of the Ches & Co team. He spends his days keeping the team company, providing emotional support of the highest order and chewing the fuzz off tennis balls. He may not make it to site visits, but he plays a very important role behind the scenes - and he knows it!
Francesca has been such a huge help in us transforming our spare room into a space that we can get maximum use from, and really reflect who we are and how we want to live our lives. In the world of Pinterest boards and comparisons on Social Media, Franny really got to the heart of what WE wanted for the room and really helped to reduce the overwhelm!

Ches & Co designed 3 rooms which reflected our interests, style, and outlook. Franny came up with creative and fresh ideas, which we could never have thought of on our own.
